client customer 分別
customer 是指在商店裡以錢買貨的人, 例如:
- The store has more customers than it can take care of.
這商店的顧客比它所能接待的還要多。 - to lose most of one’s customers through neglect and rudeness.
由於怠慢和粗魯無禮而失去大多數顧客 - The new shop across the road has taken away some of my best customers.
對面新開的那家商店把我的一些好顧客搶走了。
client 則是指接受各種各樣服務(如律師服務、銀行服務) 的人, 但不包括接受旅館服務的人(接受旅館服務的人通常稱作guest ) :
