attend 用法 (後跟at/on/to的區別)

答:attend 可用作及物動詞, 意為“參加”(to be present at; go to) :

attend at 意為“參與⋯ ⋯ (方面的活動) ”:

  1. They regularly attended at church.

  2. He attended only one year at college.
    他唯讀過一年大學。

attend on 意為“侍候”:

  1. She has many servants attending upon her.
    她有許多僕人侍候她。
  2. She has been attending on her sick mother for years.
    她侍候她生病的母親已經許多年了。

attend to 意為“辦理”、“注意”、“照看”、“注意聽”:

  1. I have two items of business to attend to (= deal with)
    我有兩筆生意要辦理。
  2. Who will attend to the baby?
    誰照料這個嬰兒?
  3. You must attend carefully to these instructions. (= pay attention to)
    你必須仔細注意這些指令。
